Mobile phlebotomy: is a concierge service where a certified phlebotomist comes to your location (home, office, or care facility) to collect blood samples. This eliminates the need to visit a lab, providing convenience and comfort.
How Does It Work?
Scheduling: You can schedule an appointment via call, text, email, or online.
Phlebotomist: Visit: A certified phlebotomist arrives at your chosen location with all necessary equipment.
Blood Draw: The phlebotomist collects your blood sample. For difficult draws, staying well-hydrated before your appointment is recommended.
Specimen Delivery: Your sample is transported to a local lab for testing.
Results: Your results will be provided by your ordering physician or the test manufacturer.
Key Considerations
Location: We recommend choosing a comfortable setting with a chair, couch, or bed. Our phlebotomists are flexible and can accommodate most locations.
Insurance: We do not accept insurance. This is a self-pay service. However, we can provide an invoice that you may submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
Medical Advice: Mobile phlebotomy services do not provide medical advice or diagnoses.
Cost: The fee for mobile phlebotomy is $100 per visit for Santa Barbara, Goleta, Montecito, and Carpinteria. Additional fees apply for visits to Ventura, Santa Ynez, and Lompoc due to extended drive time. Additional fees for same-day, STAT appointments, and weekends.
Certification: All of our mobile phlebotomists are certified, trained, and experienced in performing blood draws safely and professionally.
